Be welcomed once more to the Out Of Place Project blog, you’re right on time for the update number 20!

Now let’s go to the update.
Last week the gang arrived at Flower Castle thanks to Victor’s suggestion; the gang had a really good time knowing Queen Sunshine and her Petal Sisterhood, Batman made a good friendship with the Queen, Felix struck two flowers’ hearts and Crash became popular among the flowers with his performances.
Since Flower Castle was made for flowers and not humans, bandicoots or cats, we had to walk to another castle nearby and see if we could use it for shelter.
After leaving Flower Castle, we walked east as Vivianne told us, we crossed the white gate and we stopped so I could look for my compass in my backpack. While I did that, Crash was eating a lemon and making faces to Batman, which he found funny and Felix was eating one of his apples and said:
Felix: This place has some similarities to the forest we got lost in time ago
Batman: Except for the lack of fences, the weird atmosphere and we’re still together
Crash: Those were good times; Spidey and The Thingy were sure a nice pair
Batman: I doubt Ben would say those were good times Crash
Crash: Deep inside his solid rock heart he knows is true
Felix (to me) Well? Where’s north?
Me: That way
I pointed towards north while looking at my compass and started walking towards it and the gang followed me.
It started to get dark and we started to hear crickets and night birds making noises. For our luck, it was full moon and once it came out, it lit our way so I didn’t need to look for my flashlight.
We kept walking north for a long while but we didn’t see any paved road, and of course, doubts about if I read the compass properly surfaced:
Felix: Are you sure you read the compass properly?
Me: Yes, I’m sure, Vivianne said north and we’ve been walking north, we just have to find the paved road
Crash: And what if we sleep on the trees?
Felix: Pfft! Like if you could climb one…
Batman: Here we go…
Crash: I sure can!
Felix: No you can’t! You didn’t win the contest we had 2 weeks ago!
Crash: Neither did you! Victor won!
Me: Alright you two, enough! When we get back home, you can hold another contest between the two of you and we’ll end with this for good, deal?
Crash: Deal!
Felix: Fine, but we all know who’s going to win…
Batman: So what now Diego?
Me: I say we keep walking and find that paved road.
So we kept walking and after a short while, we found the paved road we were looking for.
Me: There it is guys, the paved road, the castle should be ahead.
Felix: About time! My paws are killing me!
Batman: We should hurry; we don’t know what happens in this place during night.
So we kept walking and after a few minutes we finally spotted the castle we were told about.
We arrived at the main door and Batman knocked on it while Crash screamed:
Crash: HELLO! ANYONE AROUND?!
Felix: Ssshhh!!! Don’t scream! What if your screams bring something hostile over here?
Crash: And how do you suggest we find out if someone’s here?
Batman: Quiet both of you!
Batman was pressing his ear against the door and paying attention to what he was listening.
Crash: What do you hear dude?
Batman: Shhh
He knocked again and paid attention to whatever he was trying to figure out.
Batman: Someone’s here, I can hear it moving when I knock
Crash: WE KNOW YOU…
Felix covered Crash’s mouth and said:
Felix: Quiet!!! If that thing is hiding, is for a reason, maybe its trying to spook us or something, don’t scream until we know what is it
Crash: Alright alright, no need to get cranky
Batman knocked once more and this time there was a noise of someone or something tripping over things.
Batman: Well, no doubt there is someone or something in there
Felix: That means we can’t stay here?
Batman: Well, before rushing to conclusions, I say we find out first what or who’s inside and see what happens
Crash: Can I call out now?
Batman/Felix: NO
Me: So what shall we do?
Batman: I’m going to go inside there and see what’s making the noise, and Ill open the door for you guys to enter and help me
Crash/Felix: Alright then
Batman got his grappling hook gun and shot it towards the wall’s edge where the door was, but just as he was going to climb up, we heard a voice with a British accent coming from the tower:
Voice: Oi! What do you think you’re doing?!
Batman: Excuse us but we’re looking for the owner of this place
Voice: Queen Victoria isn’t here at the moment, if you wish an audience with her, you will have to wait until she arrives or come back later
Felix: And who is in charge of this place right now?
Voice: I am! I was appointed by the Queen’s mother to guard this place until it was finished for Her Majesty to reside in this place and I can not allow you to trespass this premises
Crash: We just want to rest here until the morning and then we’ll leave dude!
Voice: Absolutely not! This is a royal manor, not some highway motel!
Felix: Come on! You said it’s just you in this place; it’s a big castle for just one character
Voice: I said no and it’s final! Now go away and stop bugging me!
Batman: We were sent here by Queen Sunshine
But this time the voice didn’t reply, and the gang was confused about that:
Felix: What? He took off?
Batman: And how should I know, I don’t even know with who are we speaking with!
Crash: HEY YOU MYSTERIOUS PAL! WHERE DID YOU GO?
Still no reply and Felix said:
Felix: Alright Batman, you’re going in there and bring out this guard so we can talk to him
Voice: It’s really resourceful from you strangers to use a name that most inhabitants of this place know, I’m quite impressed, but it’s not going to work with me, so get going
Felix: Ok, you listen to me you I-don’t-reveal-myself-and-I-have-fun-playing-important guard, either you open this door and let us in so we can rest, or Ill go back to Queen Sunshine and have her flowers to tell the trees that you’re chopping trees down here to stock wood for the chimney
Voice: If you claim to know Her Majesty Queen Sunshine and the Petal Sisterhood, tell me, what are the names of the entire Sisterhood eh?
Crash: I got that! Annette, Tiffany, Marianne, Nadine… Err… I’m missing some here…
Batman: Erin, Blossom, Ursula and Vivianne
Voice: You missed two
Felix: Roxanne and Silvana!! Now let us in already!
Voice: So you say they sent you here eh? And why they did that?
Batman: Because…
Felix (angry): BECAUSE THEIR CASTLE IS NOT FIT FOR ANYTHING ELSE BUT FLOWERS!!!!!!!!!
Voice: Alright alright, no need to get cranky, I’m just making sure you speak the truth, after all, I’m no mind reader, Ill let you pass, hold on a moment
After that, noises of steps going downstairs were heard and then sounds of keys.
Felix: As soon as it opens, I’m going to jump over it and going to play tic tac toe on his face!
Then we heard a lock sound, and then the main door started to open slowly, revealing the voice the gang had been dealing with.
A Yeoman Of The Guard appeared once the door was opened and said:
Yeoman Of The Guard: Welcome to…
Before he could finish, Felix jumped towards it screaming:
Felix: AAAAH!!!! I’M GOING TO USE YOUR FACE AS A TIC TAC TOE BOARD!!!!
But before he did any harm to the Warder, Batman caught him in midair and said:
Batman: You’re not doing such thing; you can’t blame him for doing his job
Crash: Especially after he agreed to let us in! If you make him angry, he’ll kick us out and we won’t have a place to sleep!
Yeoman Of The Guard: Is there a problem?
Felix: You bet there is a problem, you…
Batman covered Felix’s mouth and said:
Batman: No problem, no problem at all
Yeoman Of The Guard: Like I was saying: Welcome to Castle Victoria, I’m John, Yeoman of the Guard and the current guardian of this castle.
Batman: I’m Batman, this fellow here is Felix The Cat and my friend here is Crash Bandicoot
Crash: And we are the Out Of Place gang!
John seemed a bit shocked when he heard the word gang and asked:
John: Gang as in, hooligans?
Crash: Hooligans? What’s that?
Batman: Oh no, no, no, we’re not such thing, we come in peace
John: Pleased to meet you then Out Of Place gang, what can I do for you?
The question annoyed Felix big time and he started squirming all over but Batman held him tight while he answered:
Batman: If its not a problem we would like to stay here for the night, we are on the middle of a journey and we need a place to stay, since we couldn’t stay at Flower Castle, we were referred to this place by Her Highness Queen Sunshine
John: A-ha! Guests from Her Majesty Queen Sunshine, well, since she and Queen Victoria are friends, we gladly receive her guests, come on in then!
Crash: Weeee! Finally we’ll be able to get some rest
Batman placed Felix down and said:
Batman: Ok, we’re in, you better not start picking on him or trying to do anything, we’re being allowed in because Queen Sunshine is friend of the owner of this place, and if we leave a bad impression, it will cause problems we don’t need, so you better behave
Felix: Alright, alright, if that means I can finally get some rest
So the gang entered the castle and John closed the door and locked it.
John: I have to make sure this door is locked, if I leave it open, who knows who may enter and wonder inside this castle, one time I didn’t and a huge dog entered and slept here, and when I tried to get him out of here, he wouldn’t obey me, and it was a real odyssey to get him to leave
Felix (murmuring): And I know of a guard who made entering a castle an odyssey too…
Batman: Felix…
Felix: Ok, sorry, sorry
John: If you follow me, Ill take you to the main living room, you’ll like it there because it has a chimney and it will keep you warm
The gang followed him and they arrived to a big living room, it wasn’t filled with a lot of furniture but it had a few couches the gang could use to sleep, and the chimney was warming the room, keeping away the chilly air from outside.
John sat down and asked:
John: So how come you ended up in this realm? It’s not usual to see foreigners around here, except for that annoying goat that practices his rams against the castle walls…
Felix: You mean Victor The Goat?
John: You know him?
Crash: Yes we do! He is the reason why we’re here
John: He sent you here? Why?
Batman: We did a favour to him and he told us that since we were near, we should stop by Flower Castle, we arrived there and then we ended up here
John: But why did he convince you so easily to go to Flower Castle? You were bored?
Batman: No, we’re currently in a tour, we as a gang travel to all sorts of places, and we keep a record of our trips with photographs, and this tour we proposed ourselves to go to whole new places to us and meet new characters, we wanted to meet the inhabitants of Flower Castle, and that’s why we went over there
John: That’s quite interesting! What kind of characters have you met so far?
Crash: We met a huge orangutan called Jango Jango
Felix: We met Victor The Goat
Batman: And we met Queen Sunshine and her Petal Sisterhood, and of course, now you
John: That means that I now form part of the list of characters you’ve met so far in your tour?
Crash: That’s right! That also means that you have to get a picture taken with us
John: Oh! Then Ill be honoured to appear with you fellows in your picture
Batman: Excellent then
Felix: I don’t want to be a buzz kill but if we’re going to be taking the picture now, I suggest we do so, because I’m falling asleep and I don’t think Ill be hanging awake much longer
Crash: Yeah, me too, this whole walk towards here tired me a lot
John: Not another word then, lets get that picture taken!
So he stood up and the gang followed him to the main yard where he said:
John: Pick any location in the castle you want
Both Felix and Crash ran towards the tower, pushing themselves trying to get to the top first, John was puzzled by this and said:
John: What’s the big deal with those two?
Batman: They always compete between them to see who’s first, who’s faster, who’s better and so on, don’t pay attention to them
John: And which spot you’ll pick?
Batman: The same as them!
He proceeded to shoot his grappling hook and started moving upwards towards the tower. He got there before Felix did and said:
Batman: Sorry pal, I got here first
Felix: No fair, you used your gizmos and didn’t run for it!
Batman: Well, you didn’t set the rules, so, look for someplace else
Felix decided to sit on the wall next to the tower, Batman was looking from the top of the tower and John climbed his way up to the right corner of the wall Felix was sitting on, the only one missing was Crash.
Felix: Where could Crash possibly be? He was racing also for the tower top!
Crash: Over here! Weeeeeee!
He was waving from below, he found the window from where John was talking to the gang when they knocked and decided to use that place.
Crash: I hope you don’t mind me using this place Guardian John, but the view is so spiffy from here!
John: No problem mate, just don’t move the papers on the desk there
Batman: Alright then, everybody set?
Felix: I’m ready
Crash: Let’s get this picture taken!
John: I’m all set
So I exited the castle and got my tripod and camera set to take the picture, since the moon was shining intensely, I had plenty of light to take the picture.
I took the picture you see here and a few others (it never hurts to take more than one) and once I was done, the gang was tired and so was John.
John: Well chaps, I don’t mean to ruin the fun, but I need to sleep, it’s been a long time since I staid awake until this late
Batman: We also need to rest now, we’re all exhausted and we need to rest to continue our journey tomorrow
Felix: Finally some rest! I was wondering when I was going to get some
Crash (yawning) Ill see you guys tomorrow
They all went back to the main living room and laid down on the couches and fell asleep, but before Batman did, John told him:
John: Did you walk a dark road to get to Flower Castle?
Batman: Yes, how did you know?
John: That’s one of two ways to reach it, but one way only leads to Flower Castle but you can’t walk back, there is another way that exits this realm
Batman: Could you point us tomorrow that path so we can continue our journey?
John: Certainly, tomorrow Ill show you that path
Batman: Thank you very much for receiving us here
John: Anytime, you will be welcomed here anytime you want
Batman: Goodnight sir
John: Goodnight!
John blew off the candle he was using to light the room and we all went to sleep to get some nice and deserved rest so we can continue the Where Are We And Who Are You Tour next week.
Fourth stop of this tour, I’m glad that the gang got to meet a new character, I was hoping for that last week. Four new characters (well, not exactly) in as many stops, I’m really intrigued now to what will the next journey bring.
However, first we got to leave this place, but we’ll do that when the gang wakes up.

Se bienvenido una vez mas al blog de Proyecto Fuera De Lugar, ¡llegas justo a tiempo para la actualización numero 20!

Ahora, vayamos a la actualización.
La semana pasada la pandilla llego al Castillo De Las Flores gracias a la sugerencia de Víctor; la pandilla tuvo un muy buen rato conociendo a la Reina Resplandor y su Hermandad del Pétalo, Batman hizo buena amistad con la Reina, Félix conquisto el corazón de dos flores y Crash se volvió popular entre las flores con sus actuaciones.
Como el Castillo de las Flores esta hecho para flores y no humanos, bandicoots o gato, tuvimos que caminar a otro castillo cerca y ver si podíamos usarlo para pasar la noche.
Después de salir del Castillo de las Flores, caminamos al Este como nos dijo Vivianne, cruzamos la puerta blanca y nos detuvimos para que pudiera buscar mi brújula en mi mochila. Mientras hacia eso, Crash se estaba comiendo un limón y le hacia caras a Batman, las cuales le parecían graciosas y Félix comía una de sus manzanas cuando dijo:
Félix: Este lugar tiene ciertas similitudes con el bosque en que nos perdimos hace tiempo
Batman: Excepto que no tiene cercas, la atmósfera rara y aun estamos juntos
Crash: Esos fueron buenos tiempos; Spidey y La Cosita eran un par buena onda
Batman: Dudo que Ben diga que fueron buenos tiempos Crash
Crash: En el fondo de su corazoncito de piedra sólida sabe que es verdad
Félix (hacia mi) Bien, ¿Dónde esta el norte?
Yo: Hacia allá
Apunte hacia el norte mientras miraba mi brújula y empecé a caminar hacia allá y la pandilla me seguio.
Empezó a oscurecer y escuchábamos a los grillos y aves nocturnas haciendo ruidos. Para nuestra suerte, era luna llena y una vez que salio, alumbro nuestro camino y no hubo necesidad de sacar mi linterna.
Caminamos hacia el norte por un buen rato pero no veíamos ningún camino pavimentado, y por supuesto, las dudas sobre si leí bien la brújula no se hicieron esperar:
Félix: ¿Seguro que leíste bien la brújula?
Yo: Si, seguro, Vivianne dijo al norte y hemos estado caminando hacia el norte, solo necesitamos encontrar el camino pavimentado
Crash: ¿Y si dormimos en árboles?
Félix: Pfff, como si pudieras treparte a uno…
Batman: Ya van a empezar…
Crash: ¡Claro que puedo!
Félix: ¡No, no puedes! ¡No ganaste el concurso que los dos tuvimos hace 2 semanas!
Crash: ¡Tu tampoco! ¡Víctor gano!
Yo: ¡Suficiente con ustedes dos! Cuando regresemos a casa ustedes dos pueden hacer otro concurso y terminaremos con esto de una buena vez, ¿de acuerdo?
Crash: ¡De acuerdo!
Félix: Esta bien, pero todos sabemos quien va a ganar…
Batman: ¿Y ahora que Diego?
Yo: Yo digo que sigamos caminando hasta encontrar ese camino pavimentado
Seguimos caminando y después de un rato, encontramos el camino pavimentado que buscábamos.
Yo: Ahí esta chicos, el camino pavimentado, el castillo debe estar adelante.
Félix: ¡Ya era hora! ¡Mis patitas me duelen mucho!
Batman: Debemos apurarnos; no sabes que pasa en este lugar durante la noche
Seguimos caminando y después de unos minutos, por fin vimos el castillo que nos habían mencionado.
Llegamos a la entrada principal y Batman toco la puerta mientras Crash gritaba:
Crash: ¡HOLA! ¡¿HAY ALGUIEN AQUÍ?!
Félix: ¡¡¡Shhhh!! ¡No grites! ¿Que tal si tus gritos atraen a algo hostil?
Crash: ¿Y como sugieres que sepamos si hay alguien aquí?
Batman: ¡Silencio ustedes dos!
Batman pegaba el oído a la puerta y ponía atención a lo que escuchaba.
Crash: ¿Qué escuchas cuate?
Batman: Shhh
Toco de nuevo y puso atención a lo que fuera que trataba de descifrar.
Batman: Hay alguien aquí, lo puedo oír moviéndose cuando toco
Crash: SABEMOS QUE TU…
Félix le cubrió la boca a Crash y dijo:
Félix: ¡¡Cállate!! Si esa cosa se esta escondiendo, es por una razón, tal vez trata de asustarnos o algo, no grites hasta que sepamos que es
Crash: Esta bien, esta bien, no tienes por que ponerte cascarrabias
Batman toco una vez más y esta vez hubo un ruido de algo o alguien chocando con otras cosas.
Batman: Bueno, no hay duda de que hay alguien o algo ahí dentro
Félix: ¿Eso quiere decir que no nos podemos quedar aquí?
Batman: Bueno, antes de adelantarnos con conclusiones, sugiero que primero sepamos quien o que esta dentro y veamos que pasa
Crash: ¿Ya puedo gritar?
Batman/Félix: NO
Yo: ¿Qué hacemos entonces?
Batman: Voy a entrar y ver que hace los ruidos, y abriré la puerta para que ustedes entren y me ayuden

Batman saco su gancho retráctil y lo disparo hacia el borde del muro donde estaba la puerta, pero justo cuando iba a subir, escuchamos una voz que venia de la torre:

Voice: If you claim to know Her Majesty Queen Sunshine and the Petal Sisterhood, tell me, what are the names of the entire Sisterhood eh?
Crash: I got that! Annette, Tiffany, Marianne, Nadine… Err… I’m missing some here…
Batman: Erin, Blossom, Ursula and Vivianne
Voice: You missed two
Felix: Roxanne and Silvana!! Now let us in already!
Voice: So you say they sent you here eh? And why they did that?
Batman: Because…
Felix (angry): BECAUSE THEIR CASTLE IS NOT FIT FOR ANYTHING ELSE BUT FLOWERS!!!!!!!!!
Voice: Alright alright, no need to get cranky, I’m just making sure you speak the truth, after all, I’m no mind reader, Ill let you pass, hold on a moment
After that, noises of steps going downstairs were heard and then sounds of keys.
Felix: As soon as it opens, I’m going to jump over it and going to play tic tac toe on his face!
Then we heard a lock sound, and then the main door started to open slowly, revealing the voice the gang had been dealing with.
A Yeoman Of The Guard appeared once the door was opened and said:
Yeoman Of The Guard: Welcome to…
Before he could finish, Felix jumped towards it screaming:
Felix: AAAAH!!!! I’M GOING TO USE YOUR FACE AS A TIC TAC TOE BOARD!!!!
But before he did any harm to the Warder, Batman caught him in midair and said:
Batman: You’re not doing such thing; you can’t blame him for doing his job
Crash: Especially after he agreed to let us in! If you make him angry, he’ll kick us out and we won’t have a place to sleep!
Yeoman Of The Guard: Is there a problem?
Felix: You bet there is a problem, you…
Batman covered Felix’s mouth and said:
Batman: No problem, no problem at all
Yeoman Of The Guard: Like I was saying: Welcome to Castle Victoria, I’m John, Yeoman of the Guard and the current guardian of this castle.
Batman: I’m Batman, this fellow here is Felix The Cat and my friend here is Crash Bandicoot
Crash: And we are the Out Of Place gang!
John seemed a bit shocked when he heard the word gang and asked:
John: Gang as in, hooligans?
Crash: Hooligans? What’s that?
Batman: Oh no, no, no, we’re not such thing, we come in peace
John: Pleased to meet you then Out Of Place gang, what can I do for you?
The question annoyed Felix big time and he started squirming all over but Batman held him tight while he answered:
Batman: If its not a problem we would like to stay here for the night, we are on the middle of a journey and we need a place to stay, since we couldn’t stay at Flower Castle, we were referred to this place by Her Highness Queen Sunshine
John: A-ha! Guests from Her Majesty Queen Sunshine, well, since she and Queen Victoria are friends, we gladly receive her guests, come on in then!
Crash: Weeee! Finally we’ll be able to get some rest
Batman placed Felix down and said:
Batman: Ok, we’re in, you better not start picking on him or trying to do anything, we’re being allowed in because Queen Sunshine is friend of the owner of this place, and if we leave a bad impression, it will cause problems we don’t need, so you better behave
Felix: Alright, alright, if that means I can finally get some rest
So the gang entered the castle and John closed the door and locked it.
John: I have to make sure this door is locked, if I leave it open, who knows who may enter and wonder inside this castle, one time I didn’t and a huge dog entered and slept here, and when I tried to get him out of here, he wouldn’t obey me, and it was a real odyssey to get him to leave
Felix (murmuring): And I know of a guard who made entering a castle an odyssey too…
Batman: Felix…
Felix: Ok, sorry, sorry
John: If you follow me, Ill take you to the main living room, you’ll like it there because it has a chimney and it will keep you warm
The gang followed him and they arrived to a big living room, it wasn’t filled with a lot of furniture but it had a few couches the gang could use to sleep, and the chimney was warming the room, keeping away the chilly air from outside.
John sat down and asked:
John: So how come you ended up in this realm? It’s not usual to see foreigners around here, except for that annoying goat that practices his rams against the castle walls…
Felix: You mean Victor The Goat?
John: You know him?
Crash: Yes we do! He is the reason why we’re here
John: He sent you here? Why?
Batman: We did a favour to him and he told us that since we were near, we should stop by Flower Castle, we arrived there and then we ended up here
John: But why did he convince you so easily to go to Flower Castle? You were bored?
Batman: No, we’re currently in a tour, we as a gang travel to all sorts of places, and we keep a record of our trips with photographs, and this tour we proposed ourselves to go to whole new places to us and meet new characters, we wanted to meet the inhabitants of Flower Castle, and that’s why we went over there
John: That’s quite interesting! What kind of characters have you met so far?
Crash: We met a huge orangutan called Jango Jango
Felix: We met Victor The Goat
Batman: And we met Queen Sunshine and her Petal Sisterhood, and of course, now you
John: That means that I now form part of the list of characters you’ve met so far in your tour?
Crash: That’s right! That also means that you have to get a picture taken with us
John: Oh! Then Ill be honoured to appear with you fellows in your picture
Batman: Excellent then
Felix: I don’t want to be a buzz kill but if we’re going to be taking the picture now, I suggest we do so, because I’m falling asleep and I don’t think Ill be hanging awake much longer
Crash: Yeah, me too, this whole walk towards here tired me a lot
John: Not another word then, lets get that picture taken!
So he stood up and the gang followed him to the main yard where he said:
John: Pick any location in the castle you want
Both Felix and Crash ran towards the tower, pushing themselves trying to get to the top first, John was puzzled by this and said:
John: What’s the big deal with those two?
Batman: They always compete between them to see who’s first, who’s faster, who’s better and so on, don’t pay attention to them
John: And which spot you’ll pick?
Batman: The same as them!
He proceeded to shoot his grappling hook and started moving upwards towards the tower. He got there before Felix did and said:
Batman: Sorry pal, I got here first
Felix: No fair, you used your gizmos and didn’t run for it!
Batman: Well, you didn’t set the rules, so, look for someplace else
Felix decided to sit on the wall next to the tower, Batman was looking from the top of the tower and John climbed his way up to the right corner of the wall Felix was sitting on, the only one missing was Crash.
Felix: Where could Crash possibly be? He was racing also for the tower top!
Crash: Over here! Weeeeeee!
He was waving from below, he found the window from where John was talking to the gang when they knocked and decided to use that place.
Crash: I hope you don’t mind me using this place Guardian John, but the view is so spiffy from here!
John: No problem mate, just don’t move the papers on the desk there
Batman: Alright then, everybody set?
Felix: I’m ready
Crash: Let’s get this picture taken!
John: I’m all set
So I exited the castle and got my tripod and camera set to take the picture, since the moon was shining intensely, I had plenty of light to take the picture.
I took the picture you see here and a few others (it never hurts to take more than one) and once I was done, the gang was tired and so was John.
John: Well chaps, I don’t mean to ruin the fun, but I need to sleep, it’s been a long time since I staid awake until this late
Batman: We also need to rest now, we’re all exhausted and we need to rest to continue our journey tomorrow
Felix: Finally some rest! I was wondering when I was going to get some
Crash (yawning) Ill see you guys tomorrow
They all went back to the main living room and laid down on the couches and fell asleep, but before Batman did, John told him:
John: Did you walk a dark road to get to Flower Castle?
Batman: Yes, how did you know?
John: That’s one of two ways to reach it, but one way only leads to Flower Castle but you can’t walk back, there is another way that exits this realm
Batman: Could you point us tomorrow that path so we can continue our journey?
John: Certainly, tomorrow Ill show you that path
Batman: Thank you very much for receiving us here
John: Anytime, you will be welcomed here anytime you want
Batman: Goodnight sir
John: Goodnight!
John blew off the candle he was using to light the room and we all went to sleep to get some nice and deserved rest so we can continue the Where Are We And Who Are You Tour next week.
Fourth stop of this tour, I’m glad that the gang got to meet a new character, I was hoping for that last week. Four new characters (well, not exactly) in as many stops, I’m really intrigued now to what will the next journey bring.
However, first we got to leave this place, but we’ll do that when the gang wakes up.

(Cuarta parada de la gira En Donde Estamos Y Quien Eres Tu)
Se bienvenido una vez mas al blog de Proyecto Fuera De Lugar, ¡llegas justo a tiempo para la actualización numero 20!
El blog ha sido añadido a dos directorios de blogs mas, esperamos que esto ayude a que mas personas encuentren el blog y contribuyan a el con sus comentarios, si sabes de algún directorio de blogs y crees que este blog debe estar en el, hazme llegar la dirección y lo revisaremos.
Ahora, vayamos a la actualización.
La semana pasada la pandilla llego al Castillo De Las Flores gracias a la sugerencia de Víctor; la pandilla tuvo un muy buen rato conociendo a la Reina Resplandor y su Hermandad del Pétalo, Batman hizo buena amistad con la Reina, Félix conquisto el corazón de dos flores y Crash se volvió popular entre las flores con sus actuaciones.
Como el Castillo de las Flores esta hecho para flores y no humanos, bandicoots o gato, tuvimos que caminar a otro castillo cerca y ver si podíamos usarlo para pasar la noche.
Después de salir del Castillo de las Flores, caminamos al Este como nos dijo Vivianne, cruzamos la puerta blanca y nos detuvimos para que pudiera buscar mi brújula en mi mochila. Mientras hacia eso, Crash se estaba comiendo un limón y le hacia caras a Batman, las cuales le parecían graciosas y Félix comía una de sus manzanas cuando dijo:
Félix: Este lugar tiene ciertas similitudes con el bosque en que nos perdimos hace tiempo
Batman: Excepto que no tiene cercas, la atmósfera rara y aun estamos juntos
Crash: Esos fueron buenos tiempos; Spidey y La Cosita eran un par buena onda
Batman: Dudo que Ben diga que fueron buenos tiempos Crash
Crash: En el fondo de su corazoncito de piedra sólida sabe que es verdad
Félix (hacia mi) Bien, ¿Dónde esta el norte?
Yo: Hacia allá
Apunte hacia el norte mientras miraba mi brújula y empecé a caminar hacia allá y la pandilla me seguio.
Empezó a oscurecer y escuchábamos a los grillos y aves nocturnas haciendo ruidos. Para nuestra suerte, era luna llena y una vez que salio, alumbro nuestro camino y no hubo necesidad de sacar mi linterna.
Caminamos hacia el norte por un buen rato pero no veíamos ningún camino pavimentado, y por supuesto, las dudas sobre si leí bien la brújula no se hicieron esperar:
Félix: ¿Seguro que leíste bien la brújula?
Yo: Si, seguro, Vivianne dijo al norte y hemos estado caminando hacia el norte, solo necesitamos encontrar el camino pavimentado
Crash: ¿Y si dormimos en árboles?
Félix: Pfff, como si pudieras treparte a uno…
Batman: Ya van a empezar…
Crash: ¡Claro que puedo!
Félix: ¡No, no puedes! ¡No ganaste el concurso que los dos tuvimos hace 2 semanas!
Crash: ¡Tu tampoco! ¡Víctor gano!
Yo: ¡Suficiente con ustedes dos! Cuando regresemos a casa ustedes dos pueden hacer otro concurso y terminaremos con esto de una buena vez, ¿de acuerdo?
Crash: ¡De acuerdo!
Félix: Esta bien, pero todos sabemos quien va a ganar…
Batman: ¿Y ahora que Diego?
Yo: Yo digo que sigamos caminando hasta encontrar ese camino pavimentado
Seguimos caminando y después de un rato, encontramos el camino pavimentado que buscábamos.
Yo: Ahí esta chicos, el camino pavimentado, el castillo debe estar adelante.
Félix: ¡Ya era hora! ¡Mis patitas me duelen mucho!
Batman: Debemos apurarnos; no sabes que pasa en este lugar durante la noche
Seguimos caminando y después de unos minutos, por fin vimos el castillo que nos habían mencionado.
Llegamos a la entrada principal y Batman toco la puerta mientras Crash gritaba:
Crash: ¡HOLA! ¡¿HAY ALGUIEN AQUÍ?!
Félix: ¡¡¡Shhhh!! ¡No grites! ¿Que tal si tus gritos atraen a algo hostil?
Crash: ¿Y como sugieres que sepamos si hay alguien aquí?
Batman: ¡Silencio ustedes dos!
Batman pegaba el oído a la puerta y ponía atención a lo que escuchaba.
Crash: ¿Qué escuchas cuate?
Batman: Shhh
Toco de nuevo y puso atención a lo que fuera que trataba de descifrar.
Batman: Hay alguien aquí, lo puedo oír moviéndose cuando toco
Crash: SABEMOS QUE TU…
Félix le cubrió la boca a Crash y dijo:
Félix: ¡¡Cállate!! Si esa cosa se esta escondiendo, es por una razón, tal vez trata de asustarnos o algo, no grites hasta que sepamos que es
Crash: Esta bien, esta bien, no tienes por que ponerte cascarrabias
Batman toco una vez más y esta vez hubo un ruido de algo o alguien chocando con otras cosas.
Batman: Bueno, no hay duda de que hay alguien o algo ahí dentro
Félix: ¿Eso quiere decir que no nos podemos quedar aquí?
Batman: Bueno, antes de adelantarnos con conclusiones, sugiero que primero sepamos quien o que esta dentro y veamos que pasa
Crash: ¿Ya puedo gritar?
Batman/Félix: NO
Yo: ¿Qué hacemos entonces?
Batman: Voy a entrar y ver que hace los ruidos, y abriré la puerta para que ustedes entren y me ayuden
Crash/Félix: Esta bien
Batman saco su gancho retráctil y lo disparo hacia el borde del muro donde estaba la puerta, pero justo cuando iba a subir, escuchamos una voz que venia de la torre:
Voz: ¡Oye! ¿! Que crees que haces?!
Batman: Disculpe, buscamos al dueño de este lugar
Voz: La Reina Victoria no se encuentra por el momento, si desean una audiencia con ella, tendrán que esperar a que llegue o regresar después
Félix: ¿Y quien esta a cargo de este lugar?
Voz: ¡Yo! Fui nombrado por la madre de la Reina para cuidar este lugar hasta que este listo para que Su Majestad pueda residir en este lugar y no puedo permitirles que entren a este lugar
Crash: ¡Solo queremos quedarnos aquí hasta en la mañana y luego nos vamos cuate!
Voz: ¡Definitivamente no! ¡Esta es una mansión real, no un motel de carretera!
Félix: ¡Vamos! Acabas de decir que solo estas tu en este lugar, es un castillo muy grande para un solo personaje
Voz: ¡Dije que no y eso es todo! ¡Ahora váyanse y dejen de molestarme!
Batman: Fuimos enviados aquí por la Reina Resplandor
Pero esta vez no hubo respuesta, y la pandilla se veía confundida:
Félix: ¿Qué? ¿Se fue?
Batman: Y yo como voy a saber, ¡ni siquiera se con que estamos hablando!
Crash: ¡OYE TU AMIGO MISTERIOSO! ¿A DÓNDE FUISTE?
Aun no había respuesta y Félix dijo:
Félix: Bueno Batman, vas a entrar ahí y sacaras al guarda para que podamos hablar con el
Voz: Es muy ingenioso que extraños como ustedes usen un nombre que casi todos los habitantes de este lugar conocen, estoy muy impresionado, pero no va a funcionar conmigo, así que sigan su camino
Félix: Ok, escúchame guardia no-me-muestro-y-me-gusta-jugar-el-ser-importante, o abres esta puerta y nos dejas entrar para que podamos descansar, o iré de vuelta con la Reina Resplandor y haré que sus flores le digan a los árboles que estas talando árboles aquí para tener leña para tu chimenea
Voz: Si dicen conocer a Su Majestad Reina Resplandor y la Hermandad del Pétalo, díganme, ¿cuales son los nombres de toda la Hermandad eh?
Crash: ¡Yo se eso! Annette, Tiffany, Marianne, Nadine…eehh… me faltan algunos…
Batman: Erin, Flora, Ursula y Vivianne
Voz: Les faltaron dos
Félix: ¡¡Roxanne y Silvana!! ¡Ahora déjanos entrar!
Voz: ¿Y dicen que ellas los enviaron aquí eh? ¿Y por que hicieron eso?
Batman: Por que…
Félix (enojado) ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ POR QUE SU CASTILLO NO ESTA ACONDICIONADO PARA NADA MAS QUE FLORES!!!!
Voz: Esta bien, esta bien, no hay necesidad de ponerse cascarrabias, solo me aseguro que digan la verdad, después de todo, no leo mentes, los dejare pasar, esperen un momento
Después de eso, ruidos de pasos bajando escaleras se escucharon y luego sonidos de llaves.
Félix: En cuanto abra, ¡voy a saltarme encima y voy a jugar gato en su cara!
Luego escuchamos un sonido de una cerradura, y finalmente la puerta principal se abrió lentamente, mostrando a la voz con la cual la pandilla había estado hablando.
Un Guardia Yeoman apareció al pie de la puerta y dijo:
Guardia Yeoman: Bienvenidos a…
Antes de que pudiera terminar, Félix se lanzo hacia el gritando:
Félix: ¡¡¡AAAAHH!!!! ¡¡¡¡VOY A USAR TU CARA PARA JUGAR AL GATO!!!!
Pero antes de que pudiera hacer ningún daño al Guardián, Batman lo atrapo a medio brinco y dijo:
Batman: No harás tal cosa, no puedes culparlo por hacer su trabajo
Crash: ¡Especialmente ahora que ya nos abrió! ¡Si lo haces enojar, nos echara de aquí y no tenderemos lugar en donde dormir!
Guardia Yeoman: ¿Hay algún problema?
Félix: Por supuesto que hay un problema guardia de…
Batman cubrió la boca de Félix y dijo:
Batman: No hay problema, no hay problema en absoluto
Guardián Yeoman: Como decía, bienvenidos al Castillo Victoria, soy John, Guardia Yeoman y el actual guardián de este castillo
Batman: Yo soy Batman, este amigo aquí es Félix El Gato y mi amigo aquí es Crash Bandicoot
Crash: ¡Y los tres formamos la pandilla Fuera De Lugar!
John se vio un tanto alarmado al escuchar la palabra pandilla y pregunto:
John: ¿Pandilla, como en pandilleros?
Crash: ¿Pandilleros? ¿Qué es eso?
Batman: Oh no, no, no, no somos tal cosa, nosotros venimos en paz
John: Entonces es un gusto conocerlos pandilla Fuera De Lugar, ¿que puedo hacer por ustedes?
La pregunta molesto muchísimo a Félix y empezó a retorcerse pero Batman lo mantuvo quieto mientras contestaba:
Batman: Si no es problema quisiéramos quedarnos aquí por la noche, estamos en la mitad de un viaje y necesitamos un lugar para quedarnos, como no pudimos quedarnos en el Castillo de las Flores, la Reina Resplandor nos mando aquí
John: ¡Aja! Invitados de Su Majestad Reina Resplandor, bueno, ya que ella y la Reina Victoria son amigas, con gusto recibimos a sus invitados, ¡entren!
Crash: ¡Weeee! Finalmente podremos descansar
Batman bajo a Félix y dijo:
Batman: Ok, ya entramos, mas te vale no molestarlo o intentar algo contra el, nos están dejando entrar por que la Reina Resplandor es amiga de la dueña de este lugar, y si dejamos una mala impresión, causara problemas que no necesitamos, así que pórtate bien
Félix: Esta bien, esta bien, si eso significa que por fin pueda descansar
La pandilla entro al castillo y John cerro la puerta y le puso llave.
John: Tengo que asegurarme que esta puerta este bien cerrada, si la dejo abierta, quien sabe que pueda entrar y merodear por este castillo, una vez no lo hice y un perro enorme entro y durmió aquí, y cuando lo quise sacar de aquí, no me obedecía, fue una gran odisea hacer que se fuera
Félix (murmurando): Y yo se de un guardián que hacia entrar a un castillo una odisea también…
Batman: Félix…
Felix: Ok, pardon, pardon
John: Si me siguen, les mostrare la sala principal, les gustara ahí por que tiene una chimenea y los mantendrá calientes
La pandilla lo siguió y llegaron a una sala enorme, no tenia muchos muebles pero tenia unos sillones que la pandilla podía usar para dormir, y la chimenea calentaba el cuarto mientras alejaba el aire frió de afuera.
John se sentó y dijo:
John: ¿Y como fue que terminaron en este reino? No es común ver a extraños por aquí, excepto por esa molesta cabra que practica sus embestidas contra las paredes del castillo…
Félix: ¿Te refieres a Víctor La Cabra?
John: ¿Lo conocen?
Crash: ¡Por supuesto que lo conocemos! ¡El es la razón por la que estamos aquí!
John: ¿Los mando aquí? ¿Por qué?
Batman: Le hicimos un favor y nos dijo que ya que estábamos cerca, deberíamos parar por el Castillo de las Flores, llegamos ahí y luego terminamos aquí
John: ¿Pero como fue que los convenció tan fácilmente de ir al Castillo de las Flores? ¿Estaban aburridos?
Batman: No, actualmente estamos en una gira, nosotros como pandilla viajamos a todo tipo de lugares, y llevamos un registro de nuestros viajes con fotografías, y esta gira nos propusimos ir a lugares completamente nuevos para nosotros y conocer a nuevos personajes, queríamos conocer a las habitantes del Castillo de las Flores, y es por eso que fuimos ahí
John: ¡Eso es bastante interesante! ¿Qué clase de personajes han conocido hasta ahora?
Crash: Conocimos a un orangután llamado Jango Jango
Félix: Conocimos a Víctor La Cabra
Batman: Y conocimos a la Reina Resplandor y su Hermandad del Pétalo, y por supuesto, ahora te conocemos a ti
John: ¿Eso significa que ahora formo parte de su lista de personajes que han conocido hasta ahora en su gira?
Crash: ¡así es! Eso significa que tienes que tomarte una foto con nosotros
John: ¡Oh! Entonces estaré honrado de aparecer con ustedes en su foto
Batman: Excelente entonces
Félix: No quiero ser un aguafiestas pero si vamos a tomar la foto ya, sugiero que lo hagamos, por que me estoy quedando dormido y no creo que aguante despierto por mucho tiempo más
Crash: Si, yo también, toda la caminada para acá me canso mucho
John: ¡Ni una palabra mas entonces, vayamos a tomar esa foto!
Se puso de pie y la pandilla lo siguió al patio principal donde dijo:
John: Escojan cualquier lugar que quieran en el castillo
Félix y Crash salieron corriendo hacia la torre, empujándose y metiéndose el pie, tratando de llegar a la punta primero, John estaba perplejo por esto y dijo:
John: ¿Cuál es el gran problema con esos dos?
Batman: Siempre compiten entre ellos dos para ver quien es primero, mas rápido, mejor en esto o aquello, no les prestes atención
John: ¿Y que lugar escogerás tu?
Batman: ¡El mismo que ellos!
Entonces disparo su gancho retráctil y empezó a moverse hacia arriba de la torre. Llego antes que Félix y dijo:
Batman: Lo siento cuate, llegue primero
Félix: No es justo, ¡usaste tus baratijas para llegar, no corriste!
Batman: Bueno, no pusieron las reglas, así que busca otro lugar
Félix decidió sentarse en el borde del muro junto a la torre, Batman miraba desde el tope de la torre y John escalo hasta la esquina derecha del muro donde Félix estaba, el único que faltaba era Crash.
Félix: ¿Y donde esta Crash? ¡También estaba corriendo para llegar al tope de la torre!
Crash: ¡Por aquí! ¡Weeeeeee!
Estaba saludando desde abajo, encontró la ventana desde donde John le hablaba a la pandilla cuando tocaron y decidió usar ese lugar.
Crash: Espero que no le importe que use este lugar Guardián John, ¡pero la vista desde aquí es muy padre!
John: No hay problema amigo, solo no muevas los papeles
sobre el escritorio
Batman: Bueno entonces, ¿todo mundo listo?
Félix: Listo
Crash: ¡Tomemos esta foto!
John: Esto preparado
Salí del castillo y preparé mi triple y cámara para tomar la foto, como la luna brillaba intensamente, tenia mucha luz para tomar la foto.
Tome la foto que ven aquí y unas mas (nunca esta de mas tener mas de una) y una vez que termine, la pandilla estaba cansada y también John.
John: Bueno amigos, no quiero arruinar la diversión, pero necesito dormir, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que me quede despierto hasta tan tarde
Batman: Nosotros también necesitamos descansar, estamos exhaustos y necesitamos continuar nuestro viaje mañana
Félix: ¡Descanso por fin! Me preguntaba cuando podría tener algo de eso
Crash (bostezando) Los veré mañana
Todos fueron de nuevo a la sala principal y se acostaron en los sillones y se durmieron, pero antes de que Batman lo hiciera, John le dijo:
John: ¿Tomaron por un camino oscuro para llegar al Castillo de las Flores?
Batman: Si, ¿Cómo supiste?
John: Ese es una de las dos maneras de llegar a el, pero un camino solo va al Castillo de las Flores pero no pueden caminar de vuelta, hay otro camino que sale de este reino
Batman: ¿Podrías enseñarnos ese camino mañana para poder continuar nuestro viaje?
John: Por supuesto, mañana les muestro el camino
Batman: Muchas gracias por recibirnos aquí
John: Cuando quieran, serán bienvenidos aquí cuando quieran
Batman: Buenas noches señor
John: ¡Buenas noches!
John apago la vela que usaba para alumbrar el cuarto y todos nos dormimos para tomar un buen y merecido descanso para poder continuar con la gira En Donde Estamos Y Quien Eres Tu la próxima semana.
Cuarta parada de la gira, estoy contento que la pandilla haya podido conocer a un nuevo personaje, esperaba que esto pasara la semana pasada. Cuatro nuevos (bueno, no exactamente cuatro) personajes en cuatro paradas, estoy realmente intrigado sobre que traerá el próximo viaje.
Aunque, primero tenemos que salir de este lugar, pero haremos eso una vez que la pandilla despierte.

Espero que te haya gustado la foto de esta semana, personalmente creo que fue bastante padre el conocer a un Guardia Yeoman. Si no sabes que es eso, asegurare de checarlo, una pista: guardaespaldas ;)

ReplyDeleteMe alegra que pudieran descansar en especial después de caminar demasiado, salen muy lindos en la foto.
La luna debio estar hermosa esa noche, se nota que iluminaba muy bien.
Estoy segura que despues de descansar a Felix se le quitara el mal humor, y espero que Crash se porte bien despues de descansar, jajaja, fue gracioso ver cómo Batman le gano a Felix con sus chunches extraños, eso fue divertido.
Pues descansen y cuidense mucho, que tendran que caminar mucho de regreso con el Moyotillo negro.

ReplyDeleteQue bueno que te gusto como se ve la pandilla con John en la foto, y si, la luna estaba en luna llena y nos toco buena suerte de poder usarla de foco, jejeje.
Esperemos que a Felix se le quite su mal humor con el sueño, aunque el hecho que Batman le agandallara el lugar no creo que ayude. Y Crash se esta portando bien, ¿o no?
A ver como nos va en el camino de regreso al Moyotillo Negro y de vuelta al camino.

Yeoman of the Guard....reminds me as a part of some Russian cartoon or any of those fairy tales which tell a moral story, which in general may seem as if they are intended for children but the story they try to teach is more than welcomed for the majority of the adults also.
ReplyDeleteYeoman to me is just like one of those characters who usually appear out of nowhere (when they are needed and once they are sure they had did their part of the job, they disappear). In general they are like hundred or thousand years old, have a particular kind of voice when they speak (kind, gentle and rarely raise their voice), they are of short height and dressed in some unusual clothes.
So, there is a great resemblance between Yeoman and those Morality Masters, which makes me think if Yeoman had been sent maybe with a purpose and put in charge of the castle on that particular night when the gang was supposed to arrive. I like to believe that, that evening even though they were all tired and sleepy, that the following morning, they were told some life-moral story which had given them some food for thought.
The dark atmosphere and the castle again bring the picture of such tales, where some children get lost in the woods, end up at a castle like this, where a kind old man accommodates them, and before they go to sleep tells them a nice story regarding life and eventually the following morning, when day light comes, gives them some food and makes sure they take the right road so they arrive home safe and sound.
So its not really a coincidence the gang was pointed out to come at this castle and look for a place to stay :)
But I really like it that they met him, since those kind of people are a real treasure to know.
Regarding the story....what the hell is with Felix??? Ive never seen him THIS cranky and edgy and annoyed.....as a timed bomb which is just about to explode.
If it was Crash, i wouldnt have been surprised, but I didnt expect it from Felix. I guess he had had a rough day :)
And as usual, Batman, the pacifier :)) If it wasnt for him, I really wonder where the other two would have ended by now :))
But its more fun this way though...they dont do harm...they can just make you laugh with their behaviour.
Its really adequate they had met Yeoman of the Guard...his role is like a guard of the gang indeed, since he makes sure they have a place to stay for the night, and he'll make sure they take off safe and sound in the morning, so nothing happens to them....as Felix had said, the place has a lot of familiarities with the forest they got trapped into...im sure they wouldnt like to have a deja vu of that.
And I like the dark colours of the pictures and the shadows of the branches....they give that spooky feeling of a forest where you only here owls and bats and some inexplicable spooky sounds :)))

ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your comments, the analogy you made with John and the characters you mention is indeed interesting and right on the spot.
As for Felix, that day he was annoyed because of how much time he had to walk not to mention he was hungry, so the whole ceremony John did to accept them inside blew his fuses.
Im also glad to read you liked the picture.
