A New Challenge/Un Nuevo Desafío (#5)

Hello hello! Welcome to the fifth update of the Out Of Place Project blog!

5 weeks going and we're still here! I'm glad of the direction the project is taking and how I’ve been changing things in this blog to make things easier or more fun for you people. Be sure to keep supporting us with your visits and comments!

Before getting into this week's picture, Ill mention a few changes that will take place since this week. First, to make a difference in the texts in English and Spanish, Ill be leaving the English part in white and Spanish will be posted in yellow color and in italics, this is made to make reading easier on visitors and to make a visible separation of texts so people that look only for Spanish or English don’t have to browse through the whole mass of text.

Second, since the poll is almost done and the result doesn’t seem to be changing overnight, the updates of this blog will be moved to Friday, so this will be the last update done on Thursday, next week check on Friday. In the event that for some magic reason some people find the blog and vote for another day and that gets the most, Ill post the updates on that day and Ill make another post to let you all know of that, but for now, I will start doing it on Friday from now on.

Now then, to business. Like I said last week, the gang had so much fun outside that they didn’t want to come indoors this week, so I had to follow them all around this week while they had fun.

This week's picture is mostly because of Felix, if you look at it, you’ll notice well why, if not, a hint for you, what do cats like to do when they see a tree?

Of course that to get there was easy for Felix, for Batman also (his utility belt is handy every time), Crash is the one who suffered a bit to get there, he kept slipping...but he made it eventually, and he was proud of his achievement, that’s why he looks so proud of himself.

The funny part however, was getting them down, Batman had to take Crash down with him, but Felix refused to, he said he was fine where he was and that we could carry on without him. I told him that it wasn’t possible to do so, that we needed him to come down to carry on, but he said no. Batman and Crash tried to reason with him also but he kept refusing to come down, so I decided to get moving with Batman and Crash and I said: "Well, maybe another cat will take his place in this project, there are plenty of trees for us to visit still", Batman and Crash looked at me like "What are you talking about?" but Felix didn't like the idea of other cat taking over his place and came down faster than he took to climb the tree, and then he said that he changed his mind and decided to keep going with us.

Lesson for you people: Never be afraid to taunt a cat's pride from time to time when they get stubborn on you ;)

¡Hola hola!, ¡bienvenido a la quinta actualización de este blog!

¡5 semanas y aquí seguimos! Estoy contento de la dirección que este proyecto esta tomando y como he estado cambiando cosas en este blog para hacer las cosas mas fáciles o mas divertidas para ustedes. ¡Continúa apoyándonos con tus visitas y comentarios!

Antes de empezar con la foto de esta semana, mencionare algunos cambios que tomaran lugar a partir de esta semana. Primero, para hacer los textos en ingles y español diferentes, dejare la parte en ingles en blanco, y la parte en español será puesta en amarillo e itálicas, esto con el fin de hacer la lectura mas fácil para los visitantes y para hacer una separación visible de los textos para que la gente que solo busque el texto en español o en donde termina la parte en ingles no tengan que buscar por todo el cuerpo del texto.

Segundo, como la encuesta ya casi esta terminada y los resultados no parece que vayan a cambiar de la noche a la mañana, las actualizaciones a este blog serán movidas a los días Viernes. Así que esta será la última actualización hecha en jueves, la que sigue esperala el viernes. En el caso de que por alguna mágica razón algunas personas encuentren este blog y voten por otro día y ese día obtiene la mayoría de los votos, pondré las actualizaciones ese día y haré otra entrada para hacerles saber de eso, pero por ahora, lo empezare a hacer a partir del viernes.

Ahora bien, al grano. Como dije la semana pasada, la pandilla tuvo tanta diversión afuera que no quisieron regresar a los interiores, así que los tuve que seguir por todos lados esta semana mientras ellos se divertían. La razón de la toma de esta semana es en gran parte por Félix, si la ves con atención, notaras bien por que, si no, una pista para ayudarte, ¿que es lo que todos los gatos les gusta hacer cuando ven un árbol?

Por supuesto que el llegar ahí fue fácil para Félix, para Batman también (su cinturón con accesorios siempre es útil) Crash fue el que sufrió un poco para llegar ahí, ya que se resbalaba cada que subía...pero eventualmente lo logro y estaba orgulloso de su logro, por eso se ve tan orgulloso de si mismo.

La parte divertida fue bajarlos, Batman tuvo que bajar junto con Crash, pero Félix se negaba rotundamente, dijo que el estaba bien donde estaba y que nosotros podíamos seguir sin el. Le dije que eso no era posible hacer eso, que necesitábamos que bajara para poder seguir, pero dijo que no. Batman y Crash trataron de razonar con el, pero seguía diciendo que no, así que decidí irme con Batman y Crash y dije: "Bueno, tal vez otro gato tomara su lugar en este proyecto, aun hay muchos árboles para visitar", Batman y Crash me vieron con cara de "¿De que hablas?" pero a Félix no le gusto la idea de otro gato tomando su lugar y bajo mas rápido de lo que le tomo subirse al árbol, luego dijo que había cambiado de parecer y decidió continuar con nosotros.

Lección para ustedes: Nunca teman el azuzar el orgullo de un gato de vez en cuando se ponga terco con ustedes ;)
