Paths In The Dark/Caminos En La Oscuridad (#30)

Previously in Out Of Place:

Felix, Crash and Stitches began their journey in the search for Batman. Due to a suggestion done by Stitches, they approached a door and tried to go past it. The door was closed, but Stitches came up with a plan to open it. After some arguments between Crash and Felix, they proceeded with the plan and opened the door. After that, they entered into the darkness behind that door.


Felix: Ow! Watch where you step Crash, that’s the third time you step on my tail!

Crash: Sorry dude, it’s hard to see where I’m walking

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: No Stitches, we can’t turn back now

Felix, Crash and Stitches had entered in the darkness behind the door they opened, even though Felix was leading the way because of his better sight in the dark, Crash and Stitches we’re having a hard time following him since they couldn’t see anything and they relied on the sound of their voices to guide themselves.

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: Stitches asks if you’re sure we aren’t walking in circles

Felix: Of course I’m sure! What do you think I am? A mouse? I know where we’re going

Crash: Well, we have been walking for a long while and we aren’t getting anywhere!

Felix: I find your lack of faith disturbing

Crash: Ohhh, I’m sorry for despairing Darth Felix

Felix: You should never doubt of a cat’s guidance, because cats…OW!

Due to the fact Felix was looking elsewhere and not to the front, he crashed against a wall.

Felix: My nose!

Crash: What happened?

Felix: I crashed against a wall or something

Felix looked to the front and saw a small wall, but something was odd about it.

Felix: Mmmmm

Crash: What is it?

Felix: This proves we’re not walking in circles; we haven’t come across this wall before

Crash: This means we’ve arrived to a dead end?

Felix: Hold on


Felix walked further and noticed how the wall revealed two paths, but due to how deep the darkness was, he couldn’t see what else was there from the place he was at.

Felix: Ok guys, so the deal is… Guys? , Hey guys!!

But neither Crash nor Stitches responded.

Felix: Very funny Crash, now stop goofing around!

Still no response.

Felix started walking slowly around the area where he last saw Crash and Stitches.

Felix: Hey guys, where are you?

Felix kept walking slowly, while doing that, he stepped over something fluffy and a loud scream was heard, this scared Felix and made him jump high, and suddenly Crash appeared:

Crash: Stitches, are you ok?

Stitches (in pain): Waaaaaa waaaaa waaaaa!

Crash: You’re hurt? What happened?

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: Felix stepped on your foot? Where is he?

Felix: I’m here!

Crash picked up Stitches, carried him and said:

Crash: Where did you go?! I’ve been looking all around for you!

Felix: I just went away for a few minutes and you two disappeared!

Crash: Well, since you didn’t reply back to our calls, we started looking for you

Felix: I never heard your calls

Crash: What do you mean you didn’t hear our calls? We screamed calling you out!

Felix: I’m telling you I didn’t hear anything

Crash: You think this place is like that forest we got lost into?

Felix: I hope not… I had a bad experience in that place…

Crash: So what did you find?

Felix: There is a wall just ahead that reveals two different paths; I couldn’t see where they lead since its too dark

Crash: Which means…?

Felix: Which means we got to follow one of those paths

Crash: Well, if you say there are two paths, I suggest we separate and explore both

Felix: That sounds like a good idea

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: Why?

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: But I would go with you

Stitches: (Noises)

Felix: What is he saying?

Crash: He says separating isn’t a good idea

Felix: Why not?

Crash: Because if you couldn’t hear us calling you a while ago, there is the risk that happens again

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: He also says that it’s not safe to separate because the paths may lead to different places and we might not find each other again

Felix: That’s true; we don’t know this place at all

Crash: But if we split, we can cover more of this place at the same time

Felix: And what if something happens to you or me and the other one doesn’t know?

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: He says you are right and I should listen to you

Felix: Well, of course you should! I am a cat remember?

Crash rolled up his eyes and sighed deeply.

Felix: What path shall we take then? I suggest the right one

Crash: I suggest the left one

Felix: And you Stitches?

Stitches: (Noises)

Crash: He says he chooses the right one

Felix: Then it’s settled; we will go through the path on the right, follow me and don’t fall behind

Felix again lead the way, Crash carried Stitches and walked behind Felix. The three of them walked through the path they chose and got lost in the darkness that prevailed in that place.

Previamente En Fuera de Lugar:

Félix, Crash y Stitches comenzaron su viaje en busca de Batman. Debido a una sugerencia hecha por Stitches, se acercaron a una puerta e intentaron pasarla. La puerta estaba cerrada, pero Stitches pensó en un plan para abrirla. Después de algunas discusiones entre Crash y Félix, procedieron con el plan y abrieron la puerta. Después de eso, entraron en la oscuridad detrás de la puerta.

Félix: ¡Au! Fíjate en donde pisas Crash, ¡esa es la tercera vez que pisas mi cola!

Crash: Lo siento mano, no veo en donde piso

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: No Stitches, no podemos regresar

Félix, Crash y Stitches habían entrado en la oscuridad detrás de la puerta que abrieron, aunque Félix guiaba el camino por tener mejor visión en la oscuridad, Crash y Stitches tenían problemas para seguirlo ya que no podían ver nada y dependían del sonido de sus voces para guiarse.

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: Stitches pregunta si estas seguro que no estamos caminando en círculos

Félix: ¡Por supuesto que estoy seguro! ¿Qué crees que soy? ¿Un ratón? Se por donde vamos

Crash: Pues, ¡hemos estado caminando por un buen rato y no estamos llegando a ningún lado!

Félix: Tu falta de fe me es irritante

Crash: Ohhh, discúlpame por desespérame Darth Félix

Félix: Nunca debes dudar de la guía de un gato, por que los gatos… ¡AU!

Como Félix estaba volteando a otro lado y no al frente, se estrello contra una pared.

Félix: ¡Mi nariz!

Crash: ¿Qué paso?

Félix: Me estrelle contra una pared o algo así

Félix miro hacia el frente y vio una pequeña pared, pero había algo raro con ella.

Félix: Mmmmm

Crash: ¿Qué es?

Félix: Esto prueba que no hemos estado caminando en círculos; no habíamos topado con esta pared antes

Crash: ¿Esto significa que llegamos a un callejón sin salida?

Félix: Espera

Félix camino y noto como la pared revelaba dos caminos, pero debido a lo profundo de la oscuridad que había, no pudo ver que había ahí desde el lugar donde estaba.

Félix: Ok chicos, la cuestión aquí es… ¿Chicos? ¡¡Hey chicos!!

Pero ni Crash o Stitches respondieron.

Félix: Muy gracioso Crash, ¡ya deja de bobear!

Aun no había respuesta.

Félix camino despacio alrededor del área donde vio a Crash y Stitches por última vez.

Félix: Oigan chicos, ¿Dónde están?

Félix siguió caminando lentamente, mientras hacia eso, piso algo pachoncito y un fuerte grito se escucho, esto asusto a Félix y lo hizo saltar bastante alto, y de repente Crash apareció:

Crash: Stitches, ¿estas bien?

Stitches (adolorido) ¡Waaaaaaa waaaaaa waaaaaa!

Crash: ¿Estas herido? ¿Qué paso?

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: ¿Félix piso tu pie? ¿Dónde esta?

Félix: ¡Aquí estoy!

Crash recogió a Stitches, lo cargo y dijo:

Crash: ¿! A donde te fuiste?! ¡Te he estado buscando por todos lados!

Félix: ¡Me voy por unos minutos y los dos desaparecen!

Crash: Pues como tú no respondías cuando te llamamos, te empezamos a buscar

Félix: Nunca oí que me llamaran

Crash: ¿Cómo que no nos oíste? ¡Te gritamos!

Félix: Te digo que no oí nada

Crash: ¿Crees que este lugar es como aquel bosque en que nos perdimos?

Félix: Espero que no…No tuve una buena experiencia ahí…

Crash: ¿Y que encontraste entonces?

Félix: Hay una pared adelante que revela dos caminos diferentes; no pude ver a donde llevan por que esta muy oscuro

Crash: ¿Lo que significa…?

Félix: Lo que significa que tenemos que seguir uno de esos caminos

Crash: Bueno, si hay dos caminos, sugiero que nos separemos y exploremos ambos

Félix: Es una buena idea

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: ¿Por qué?

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: Pero yo iría contigo

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Félix: ¿Qué esta diciendo?

Crash: Dice que separarse no es una buena idea

Félix: ¿Por qué no?

Crash: Por que si no pudiste oírnos cuando te llamamos hace rato, hay el riesgo de que ocurra de nuevo

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: También dice que no es seguro separarse por que los caminos pueden llevar a lugares diferentes y ya no nos encontremos de nuevo

Félix: Eso es cierto; no conocemos este lugar en absoluto
Crash: Pero si nos separamos, podremos cubrir mas terreno al mismo tiempo

Félix: ¿Y que si le pasa algo a uno de nosotros y el otro no sabe?

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: Dice que tienes razón y debo hacerte caso

Félix: ¡Por supuesto que debes! Soy un gato ¿recuerdas?

Crash puso los ojos en blanco y suspiro profundamente.

Félix: ¿Entonces que camino tomamos? Yo sugiero el derecho

Crash: Yo sugiero el izquierdo

Félix: ¿Y tu Stitches?

Stitches: (Ruidos)

Crash: Dice que escoge el camino derecho

Félix: Esta decidido entonces; iremos por el camino derecho, síganme y no se queden atrás

Félix volvió a guiar el camino, Crash cargo a Stitches y camino detrás de Félix. Los tres caminaron a través del camino que escogieron y se perdieron en la oscuridad que prevalecía en el lugar.
