Hello and welcome again to the Out Of Place Project blog. We're now entering the 2 digit realm, this is the 10th picture of this series!
This is the third part of the current story with the gang right now, and I said last week I hoped to have good news for you about the whereabouts of the gang but...
There is always a but in this kind of situations, the but is, I got NO idea where they are. I’ve been looking for them all week and nothing to go on, last week at least I had the illusion of the gang or the fake gang, whatever it was, but this week, NOTHING, not a single sighting. I’ve looked all over the place and I’ve found myself coming back to the same places I know, thing is, this forest seems a whole lot bigger that I originally thought and apparently there are areas I haven’t investigated yet, problem is I may end up getting lost like the gang itself.
So, in order not to suddenly stop the updates of this blog, I decided to wait for help.
The good news is that help is here, they contacted me before arriving and asked me to meet them at the place where the gang and me entered 3 weeks ago, so I went to that place and waited for them to get here. They arrived a while ago and we all agreed who was going to look for whom and we also agreed on a meeting point after all of them found their respective gang member, this in order to cover as much ground as possible at the same time and hopefully find the gang members soon enough.
The picture you see here is a picture of the rescue squad, superheroes willing to do the job and find their fellow mates. You’ll have to forgive them if they don’t show themselves, but they turned out to be shy towards the camera. I suggested that as a start I took a picture of their shadows and they agreed, but they’ll have no escape next time ;)
I know that I said at the start of this project that guests would be ok in the picture as long as one member of the gang appeared in it, but since this week the gang is nowhere to be found, I’m going to make an exception. I know, I know, every rule has its exception and blah blah blah... ;)
And we're going to have a contest this week!
The Out Of Place Hidden Character Contest.
There are four characters in this picture, whoever guesses correctly first whose character's shadow is displayed on this picture, wins. There are 4 characters, that means there are 4 prizes up for grabs, or if you’re lucky and smart enough, you can win the best prize...
Here is how it will work:
During this week, you will have the chance to submit your guesses as to which characters are shown in that picture, for this you’ll have to mail me at diegoraigozanunez@gmail.com , GUESSES LEFT IN THE C-BOX OR AS A REPLY TO THE PICTURE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Whoever guesses correctly which character or characters are shown there, wins a picture or the amount of correct guesses in pictures. Ill make series of different 4 pictures with each hidden character that appears in this picture. This means that if someone guesses 2 names, that person gets 2 pictures of that series, if someone guesses 3 characters, gets 3 pictures, and so forth. If someone guesses correctly all 4 of the characters and no one guessed any character first before, that person gets 1 picture but with all the hidden characters and the Out Of Place gang with a special message to the winner.
The winner or winners will be notified by email. The winner or winners will be announced during the 11th update of this blog (February 1 2008) and the prizes will be given out on February 23 2008.
In the event that 2 or more people send a correct guess at the same time, a quiz will be sent out, the first person to send all the correct answers, wins, if no one sends all the correct answers, the winner will be determined by whoever sent the most correct answers. If no one sends the correct answers, a single question will be sent out, whoever sends the correct answer first, wins.
If absolutely no one guesses any character correctly during the duration of this contest, then no one gets anything, simple as that.
Restrictions:
People who know which characters I used for this picture are not allowed to participate. I know who you are, so don’t try to fool me.
Multiple guesses are allowed, but they got to be sent in individual mails, MAILS WITH SEVERAL ANSWERS WILL BE DISCARDED. If a mail contains several answers, NO MATTER IF THEY ARE CORRECT, it will be discarded.
Mails with answers will be accepted until January 31 2008 at 11:59 p.m. -6:00 GMT, mails after that time WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Esta es la tercera parte de la historia actual de la pandilla, y la semana pasada dije que esperaba tener buenas noticias para ustedes sobre el paradero de la pandilla pero...
Siempre hay un pero en este tipo de situaciones, el pero es, no tengo la mas REMOTA idea de en donde están. Los he estado buscando toda la semana, pero nada que me ayude, la semana pasada al menos tuve la ilusión o la pandilla falsa, o lo que sea que fuese, pero esta semana, NADA, ni un avistamiento. He buscado por todos lados y me he encontrado regresando a los mismos lugares que conozco, el problema es, este bosque parece ser muchísimo mas grande de lo que originalmente pensé y al parecer hay áreas que no he investigado aun, el problema es que puede que yo también me termine perdiendo como la pandilla.
Así que, para evitar el repentino paro de actualizaciones a este blog, decidí esperar por la ayuda.

Las buenas noticias es que la ayuda esta aquí, me contactaron antes de llegar y me pidieron que los viera en el punto por donde la pandilla y yo entramos a este bosque hace 3 semanas, así que fui a ese lugar y espere a que llegaran. Llegaron hace poco y acordamos quien iba a buscar a quien y también acordamos un punto de reunión al cual ir después de que cada quien encontrara al miembro de la pandilla que le tocaba, esto para cubrir el mayor terreno posible al mismo tiempo y con suerte encontrar a la pandilla lo mas pronto posible.
La foto que ves aquí es una foto del equipo de rescate, superhéroes dispuestos a hacer el trabajo y encontrar a sus compañeros. Tendrás que disculparlos si no se muestran a si mismos, pero resultaron ser tímidos hacia la cámara. Sugerí que para empezar les tomara una foto de sus sombras y estuvieron de acuerdo, pero no habrá escapatoria la próxima vez ;)
Se que dije al principio de este proyecto que los invitados serian bienvenidos siempre y cuando un miembro de la pandilla apareciera en la foto, pero como esta semana la pandilla no esta disponible, haré una excepción. Ya se, ya se, toda regla tiene su excepción y blah blah blah... ;)

El Concurso Del Personaje Oculto De Fuera De Lugar.
Hay cuatro personajes en esta foto, el que adivine correctamente primero de que personaje es la sombra que se ve en la foto, gana. Hay 4 personajes, eso significa que hay 4 premios para conseguir, o si eres lo suficientemente listo y afortunado, podrás ganar el mejor premio...
El mecanismo el siguiente:
Durante esta semana, tendrás la oportunidad de mandar tus respuestas sobre que personajes crees que aparecen en la foto, para esto deberás mandar tu respuesta a
diegoraigozanunez@gmail.com , RESPUESTAS QUE SE DEJEN EN LA C-BOX O COMO UNA RESPUESTA A LA FOTO NO SERAN ACEPTADAS. El que adivine correctamente que personaje o personajes aparecen en la foto que se muestra aquí, ganara una foto o la cantidad de fotos por respuestas correctas. Haré una serie de 4 fotos diferentes con cada personaje oculto que aparece en esta foto. Esto significa que si alguien adivina correctamente 2 nombres, se lleva 2 fotos, si alguien le atina a 3, se lleva 3 fotos, y así sucesivamente. Si alguien le atina correctamente a los 4 personajes y nadie mas le atino antes a ninguno, esa persona se lleva 1 foto con los 4 personajes y la pandilla Fuera De Lugar con un mensaje especial para el ganador.Durante esta semana, tendrás la oportunidad de mandar tus respuestas sobre que personajes crees que aparecen en la foto, para esto deberás mandar tu respuesta a
El ganador o ganadores serán notificados vía correo electrónico. El ganador o ganadores serán anunciados durante la actualización número 11 de este blog (Febrero 1 2008) y los premios serán entregados el 23 de Febrero de 2008.
En el caso de que 2 o mas personas manden una respuesta correcta al mismo tiempo, una prueba escrita será enviada, la primera persona que mande todas las respuestas correctas, gana, si nadie manda todas las respuestas correctas, el ganador será aquel que haya mandado la mayor cantidad de respuestas correctas. Si nadie manda las respuestas correctas, una sola pregunta será enviada, el primero que la conteste correctamente, gana.
Si absolutamente nadie adivina ningún personaje correctamente durante la duración de este concurso, nadie se lleva nada, simple como eso.

hmmmmm.....and I was so much convinced that the gang would have been rescued in this episode, but I guess the situation has gotten more seriously than previously thought
ReplyDeletewell, honestly, i like how the feeling of suspension and uncertainty still keeps lingering and the more time goes by, the more intense it grows....yeah, I would like to see the gang rescued, but then again, there is a nice thrill in the wondering of whats gonna happen next or where can they be, or how they're doing.....
but its good to see that aid has finally arrived...mmmmmm, and not just one, but 4 of them...united we stand and stronger we are, eh? :)
The photo had come as a REAL surprise I must say, nah, I didnt expect this at all but I gotta say its AWESOME....mmmmm, what I really like about it is the way it holds mystery...the colours and the shadows had really done the right effect....and the whole picture feels as if the aid is coming from a distance, and as if they are going in some slow motion, while moving forward...and you just stand, gazing and staring, squinting with your eyes as youd be able to see more properly in the distance, but..a-a...everything feels blurred and unclear...they all look familiar to you but yet they are still away enough so that you cant distinguish them properly...you look at them and you keep telling yourself
"man, that guy looks so much like xxx...hmmm, it even moves like him....nah, it cant be, that would be too good to be true....hmmm, or no...yeah thats him....no it's not....it is.....no its not...but what if it is....uhhhhh, wouldnt that be terrific?!!! and what about the one next to him??"
you put your hand at your forehead trying to prevent the sun from coming into your eyes as you'd be able to see more properly and you keep mumbling..."oh god, is that who I think it is???" and you go into an endless wondering and guessing while the aid keeps sloooooowwllyyyy moving towards you....and you are all anxious for them to finally come closer so you can see them more properly and kill the suspense...but for that...oh well...you'll have to wait till the next episode....but you keep hoping deep inside yourself that they are the ones you think they are...I mean, you'd love to get their autographs no?! :)) Plus, you really believe that they are the right guys for finding and saving the gang...

a great picture....and I LOVE how the darkness of it gives a gloomy effect and a sense of some slow motion and mystery, as if something overclouded the sun and everything became dark and hardly visible and it also creates the feeling of distance and suspension...you know...its here, yet its distant...so its still unknown...
and I do believe that the ones chosen to help will each do their task correctly....well, still biting nails till they are completely revealed :P

Entiendo que los heroes no quisieran salir porque son timidos, yo los entiendo!!!
Yo solo espero que aparescan pronto esos tres porque, eso de que esten perdidos en un bosque enorme, sin comida, sin abrigo y sin fotografo es preocupante!!!!
mmmm.... quienes serasn esos 4 que ayudaran a buscar a la pandilla... mmm.... estoy pensando.

Thanks for your comment, Im glad you liked the picture and how it gives you the feeling of something known but at the same time doesnt give certainty of it.
I had to call all 4 of them to make sure I would find the gang, one single superhero would take weeks to find the whole gang in this freaky forest and the poor gang has been lost already for quite a while.
Dont bite your nails too much ;)

Justo ahorita la busqueda por la pandilla se esta llevando a cabo, esperemos que la semana que entra ya tengamos mejores noticias que esta semana.
Y si, estos superheroes salieron medio timidos, pero como dije, la que sigue no tienen saque ;)
